When our son and daughter in law decided that they were going on holiday to Hong Kong we supported them completely ind doing this.  We had travel a lot when we were young and felt that we had gained fromt he experience.   In a pre flight conversation with them we discovered that they had decided not to purchase a Travel Insurance Cover for medical emergencies.  They felt because they were young and healthy that they would never need it and it would be an unnecesary expense.  We told that that we would be glad to pay the premium on their policy if they would let us.
