From the very beginning, I can tell you that I was a little bit apprehensive about having my family and myself stay in the cheap Christchurch accommodation, having read some very unflatteringly mixed reviews of it that had been posted on the internet.  But, it is a rare occasion for us to be traveling together all as one unit on an international trip in the first place, we chose to stay here because it fit right well within the constraints of our travel budget.  The beautiful thing that we were not disappointed with our experience.  We actually loved it.  I have learned not to believe everything I read on the internet.
