I just found out that one of my best friends was in a terrible car accident this morning. She and her husband were driving down the freeway at seventy miles an hour in the fog. A car was parked in the middle of the road, but they couldn’t see it. They slammed into it at full speed. They were hurt pretty badly, but they were wearing seatbelts so it looks like they are going to be okay. The most shocking news of the whole situation is that there was a woman on the other side of the car. When they hit it, it hit and killed her. The woman who was killed was also a friend of mine. What a sad day this is.
