Make a Plan to Get Your Ex Back

I know, I know – I shouldn’t want my ex back. He was arrogant, bossy, and completely self-centered, but you know what they say – you can’t help who you love. And God knows I love him. About six weeks ago, I was sitting on my couch drowning my sorrows in a glass (okay, a bottle) of Merlot and listening to ‘our song’ on repeat. It was when I went to the bathroom and caught a glance of myself in the mirror that I decided that something had to be done. I needed a change; a transformation from the miserable hag I’d become back into the vibrant woman he’d fallen in love with.So I did what I do best: came up with a plan to get my ex back. Step one was to cease all communication. Yes, I was the one that always tried to initiate the conversations, but either way – it all ended now. Step two was to take a shower and shave my legs. Ever since he’d left me, I’d had no desire to make myself look even halfway presentable and that had to end now, whether I felt like it or not. Step three was to arrange coincidental meetings. I’d been with this man for almost two years and I knew his habits and what types of places he liked to frequent. So what if I added in a little stalking – that’s not against the law. Or is it?Anyway, I got a friend to set me up on a blind date and just happened to suggest we go to one of the local pubs for drinks where I knew my significant-ex would be playing pool. Imagine his surprise seeing me happy and healthy looking and on the arm of a very attractive man. I didn’t speak to him other than a perfunctory ‘hello, how’ve you been?’ but I did spend the evening putting on the performance of my life… Ah! The phone’s ringing … wonder who that could be?
