The prostate weighs about 20 grams, it is an encapsulated gland that surrounds the urethra of the male just below the neck of the bladder. It is a gland that has no nerve but is highly vascularized. Known to be the second most common site of cancer, next to lung cancer among men it rarely occurs before the man ages 60. The incidence of prostate cancer increases with advancing age, high risk people are the one’s with a family history of cancer. This is where being proactive with a natural prostate formula is a smart thing. Therapy like radiation by implant or external beam can be delivered for prostate cancer. Hormone therapy can also be used for advanced type given that metastasis or the cancer has spread to the neighboring muscles, bones or glands.
