Not much is taught in school these days. I have had a number of interns come to my office and every time it feels as if i am teaching a freshman the basic of the industry. I do not know what criteria they use to choose the type of units they teach but the trend needs to be nipped and a whole new system put in to place. the Employment Law allows for someone to take in interns and give them a transport or meal allowance but at this rate i think the interns need to be paying me for teaching me. Most of what i have to taken them through are things they should have leaned in college. On the other hand they are quick to learn and that is why i am convinced that it is not them who are the problem, it is the education system.
