Tabla Drums On My Birthday

February 24th, 2010 by admin

My birthday will take place in a few days from now. I will be having a simple party in my home. A lot of people will be there. I also hired musicians because I want the entire evening to be a wonderful night. Of course, I told them that they should bring their tabla drums along. I am just simply amazed with the different sounds that the drums can make. I first learned about the drums from my boyfriend. He is also a music lover, and I learned to love different instruments from him. I cannot wait for my birthday to finally come.

Finally picked our wedding photographers

February 18th, 2010 by admin

Hurray!  We finally decided on some really great wedding photographers for our big splash. The most important question we had was, who’s shooting the wedding? We wanted to make sure we knew who was going to show up on the wedding day so we went with an independent photographer and his assistant instead of a studio.  We outlined what was included in the wedding photography package, including the cost, date, time and deposit.  I was glad to hear our guy doesn’t double book dates and works as the main photographer.  Just some simple facts to help you pick the right person too!

How My Son Spends His Time On The Computer

February 11th, 2010 by admin

My son is very much into music and he plays the guitar and the drums.  He spends a lot of time on our computer and I was very curious about how he spends this time.  I started watching him very closely and I learned that he visits a guitar forum every day.  He gets to talk to other musicians and they share their tips and stories.  I was relieved because I feel that this is a productive way to spend his time and he seems to really connect with these people.  I feel good about this and I am happy to know that he is making some friends who are musicians.

He Wanted To Keep me Away From His Daughter With An Acoustic Guitar Lesson

January 23rd, 2010 by admin

Once I had this girlfriend that had this really weird family. They thought they were the Partridge family or something. Every time I went over to pick her up for a date, he would always invite me inside for an acoustic guitar lesson. Now I thought I’d be polite the first few times, and oblige the old guy, but I think he took that to mean that I was really interested in the acoustic guitar. So he would always have all these music stands set up with music books every where. Often times, we would never get to our date, as the guitar lessons would take half the night.

Brayer Roller Techniques

January 15th, 2010 by admin

There are many ways of employing brayer rollers to your advantage when using them in conjunction with a craft project. There are two main uses of brayers, first of all you can obtain the replaceable rubber rollers with various designs, for example - snowflakes; in this case you would ink up the roller and apply to your substrate to produce a background design. The other main use would be to use a brayer roller for transferring ink onto large rubber stamps which will tend to give you an even coating of ink across the stamp when compared to applying the ink direct.

A Good Choice

January 14th, 2010 by admin

After browsing through several learn and master guitar reviews, I’ve come to the conclusion that this just might be the kind of online guitar learning course that’s best for me.  A quick background on me: I’m a frustrated guitarist, meaning to say I actually own a guitar but never got around to learning how to play.  While it’s sitting in my room gathering dust, I never actually got up the nerve to sign up for classes, and I don’t think I want to pay that much money for it.  I’d rather go for an online course, just like this one, which could be a little pricey compared to others, but is definitely worth it for its professional quality and ease of use.

Buying a Learning Guitar DVD

January 1st, 2010 by admin

The most conventional way to learn to play the guitar is perhaps by engaging a guitar teacher to teach you to play the guitar. However, with the progress of technology, there are now many offbeat methods of learning to play the guitar. One such way is to buy a learning guitar DVD and learn to play the guitar through the learning guitar DVD. While you might wonder as to if you will be able to learn to play the guitar from a DVD, but once you take a look at the learning guitar DVD that is being sold by Jamorama Acoustic,  you will have no doubts left in your mind about the effectiveness of learning to play the guitar from a learning guitar DVD.
