If you want a good job and you don’t want to go to school forever, then you should become an electrician. I have a friend that started in the electrical field and he knew nothing. He had a good employer who trained him right on the job site. He even paid him as he trained. Once he had on site training for about a year, then he encouraged him to get his licence. With the training he already had, he got his electrical contractors license in less than six months. There is never a shortage of electricians jobs, so he is very busy. Becoming an electrican is very fulfilling.
