When my company wanted to expand in 2003, we had found the perfect two storey building located in the suburb of Kanata.  The only problem was that we didn’t have the financial capabilities to properly fund our purchase.  First I applied at a variety of financial instituions like the Royal Bank and CIBC but after unfavourly interest rates we almost decided to cancel the move all together.  It was by luck that I had met a government grants expert by the name of Jacob who helped us discover the many sources of Canadian grants that were available to us.  Without his help, I think we would still be stuck in the same old building with the leaky faucets and smelly carpet.
